Ayurveda, Natures Medicine is an excellent introduction to the full field of Ayurvedic
Medicine from diet and herbs to yoga and massage. It has a notable emphasis on practical
self-care and daily life regimens that makes it helpful for everyone seeking health and
wholeness. The book is an excellent primer for students beginning in the field and who wish
to have a firm foundation to understand the entire system.

This review is from: Ayurveda, Nature?s Medicine (Paperback)
An excellent overview of all the main areas of Ayurveda. Easy to understand and well
explained. Useful as an introductary text for those with a limited knowledge of Ayurveda and
as quick reference for those with more advanced knowledge.
Occasional typo?s most of which are fairly obvious, the most significant being the deletion
of limb 5 from the table spanning pg 265-266 summarizing Patanjali?s Classical eightfold
system of yoga.
A book I enjoyed reading cover to cover and one I would recommend without hesitation inspite
of the error noted above.
